Job summary

Scotiabank seeks a Senior Credit Solutions Associate to assist Senior Credit Solutions Managers with building and monitoring credit applications and portfolios for complex Core clients. You will help prepare analyses, credit packages, and recommendations, reporting to the Team Lead, Credit.

The role emphasizes collaboration with SCSMs across the region and compliance with regulations while supporting Canada-wide client service efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing financial statement spreads and credit summaries.
• Experience analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and documentation to identify risks.
• Experience preparing credit presentations and packages.
• 1–2 years of Commercial Banking experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and credit analysis.
• Understanding of credit structures and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit analyses and documentation for core clients.
• Support Senior Credit Solutions Managers in the region.
• Assist 2–3 Senior Credit Solutions Managers regionally on complex Core clients.
• Serve Canada-based clients and potentially operations across the region/country.
• Ensure compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.
