Job summary

The Government of Manitoba is seeking a Park Work Supervisor 3 to support maintenance, operation and construction activities across three campground sites in the Rennie District. You will assist with winter trails, water systems, interpretive trails and related infrastructure under limited supervision.

Qualifications include supervisory experience, facility maintenance, project management and strong teamwork. Some French language ability is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Experience in building, construction and maintenance of facilities.
  • Supervisory experience including training and directing staff.
  • Experience or training in project management including budgeting and inventory control.
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize changing workloads.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater system maintenance.
  • French language ability is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, co-ordination, implementation and supervision of park maintenance and construction activities in the Rennie District.
  • Oversee winter trails, back country, interpretive trails, snowmobile trails, water distribution and wastewater collection.
  • Report to Park Work Supervisor 3 or designate and operate under limited supervision.
  • Ensure safety, budgeting and inventory considerations are met in daily tasks.
