The Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport is seeking a motivated, flexible and dependable individual to join Buffalo Pound Provincial Park as a seasonal Park Sanitation Supervisor from mid‑April to mid‑October. This labour service (seasonal) position offers the chance to contribute to Saskatchewan’s provincial parks system while helping maintain safe, clean and welcoming facilities for visitors and residents.
The position involves supervising sanitation operations and supporting the overall maintenance and care of park facilities, grounds and infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a team‑oriented leader who can work independently, supervise and schedule sanitation staff, respond professionally to public inquiries, and contribute to a positive work environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate accountability, innovation, collaboration, inclusiveness, adaptability and a commitment to public service excellence.
They must be comfortable performing physically demanding work, identifying and resolving operational issues, and following established safety and risk‑management practices. Candidates should have experience performing building, grounds or park maintenance and using common hand tools and light equipment. Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation methods, materials and equipment is required, along with knowledge of WHMIS and occupational health and safety requirements.
Experience training and scheduling staff, maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, keeping records and operating maintenance equipment is an asset. A valid driver’s licence is required.
