Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in engineering; P.Eng. designation or eligible.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive municipal engineering experience with direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • Member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Nova Scotia (APEGNS) or eligible for membership.
  • Must possess a valid Nova Scotia driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage water and wastewater treatment operations.
  • Provide engineering support for operating programs and projects within Operations.
  • Plan, develop, review and monitor operating programs and service standards aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Advance operational resiliency through risk assessment, mitigation planning, and emergency preparedness.
