Job summary

AWC Water Solutions Ltd. is seeking an intermediate Electrical Engineer to support design and fabrication teams for water and wastewater treatment systems. You will lead electrical equipment sizing and selection, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry codes.

Responsibilities include collaborating with I&C and fabrication teams, creating prototypes, and reviewing drawings and BOMs. The role requires post-secondary degree in EE and active P.Eng in BC or AB, with 5–10 years of

Qualifications

• Post secondary degree in electrical engineering.
• P.Eng registration in BC or AB is required/preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in designing, sizing and selecting process electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Size electrical equipment to meet client specifications, codes and standards.
• Act as electrical lead on projects.
• Review engineering documents to verify equipment compliance with specs and codes.
• Collaborate with I&C design and fabrication teams on equipment sizing and selection.
• Assist in prototype creation and testing for design validation.
• Review fabrication/assembly drawings and bills of materials.
