Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Licensed Practical Nurse Program.
• Registered in good standing with CLPNA.
• Caring, compassionate, dependable, ethical and mature.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage stressful situations.

• Good time management in fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team.
• Current CPR and First Aid.
• Experience with MDS-RAI assessments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident care is provided within established nursing standards and physicians' orders.
• Develop individualized resident care plans using the Nursing Process.
• Plan, direct, supervise and evaluate the work of the Health Care Aide.
• Orientate, mentor and develop staff competency.
