Qualifications

• Health Care Aide Certification or equivalent required.
• Experience in long-term care is an asset.
• Strong organization, time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the team.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal assistance and support services for residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
• Communicate resident care needs and observations to professional staff.
• Participate in orientation and mentorship of new staff and students.
• Interact with residents, families and team members to address care needs.
• Work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team.
