Extendicare is seeking a Part-time RPN/LPN to join our Canadian long‑term care teams. You will provide high‑quality nursing care, follow physician orders, and adhere to internal policies while documenting vital signs and changes in residents’ conditions.

Responsibilities include assisting in care plan development, monitoring residents, and coordinating with physicians and the care team. Provincial registration and an LPN certification are required, with experience in long‑term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Current certificate of competence to practice nursing in Canada.
• Provincial registration or eligibility for registration.
• Experience in long-term care or community home care preferred.
• Experience with cognitively impaired residents helpful.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care following established standards, physicians' orders and policies; observe and record vitals and patient conditions.
• Assess residents, develop and review care plans; monitor health and refer to doctors as needed.
• Document changes accurately and ensure timely communication with the care team.
