## Junior Human Factors EngineerApply: CA.ON.Mississauga.2251 Speakman Drive: Full time: Posted Today: R-163916### **Job Description**## **Overview** The Human Factors Engineering department is responsible for providing engineering support from a Human Factors perspective to the design of nuclear power generation equipment, digital instrumentation and control systems for projects involving control, monitoring, and operator displays in the nuclear island for existing customers and new builds. Typical assignments will include leading client Human Factors and Ergonomics work packages, managing technical delivery to project programs as well as leading and contributing to AtkinsRéalis bids and initiatives. As a member of a client focused team, the position may entail opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects across a range of sectors of industry including Nuclear and Energy Transition, Defence, and other Transportation and Infrastructure areas. The job position expects the candidate to make a positive contribution to the development plans of the Human Factors team, using entrepreneurial thinking and excellent communication skills to liaise with other groups and departments to provide integrated solutions to the client.
