Job summary

AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services organization, seeks a Human Factors Specialist to deliver HF processes, documentation and client-facing services within rail projects. The role involves collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure usability, safety and efficiency across systems used in rail and transit environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Factors, Ergonomics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience applying Human Factors principles.
• Experience in railway systems or human‑machine interfaces preferred.
• Bilingual English and French preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Human Factors processes and documentation.
• Support HF assignments including estimating, tendering, planning and execution.
• Ensure client communication and on-time delivery within budget.
• Foster cross-functional relationships to deliver HF services.
• Support System Assurance, V&V, and Requirements Management teams.
• Identify opportunities to expand the HF client base.
