Job summary

Synopsys Inc. is seeking a senior PCB design engineer to own high-speed PCB designs from requirements through physical implementation.

You will lead multiple test-chip PCB developments, drive signal and power integrity analysis, and collaborate with global teams to ensure successful integration of Synopsys IP. The role requires strong hands-on PCB experience, 3D electromagnetic modelling, and the ability to balance technical depth with project delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in high-speed PCB design and layout
• Electrical modeling and SI/PI analysis
• 3D electromagnetic modelling experience with HFSS or equivalent
• Strong communication in English for customer discussions and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple PCB designs from requirements to layout and delivery
• Define PCB requirements with customers and internal teams
• Perform hands-on PCB layout and physical design using industry-standard tools
• Extract electrical models and run SI/PI analyses to guide design decisions
• Guide customers through PCB architecture evaluations for Synopsys IP
• Coordinate design schedules, technical reviews, and deliverables
• Provide regular project updates to management on progress and risks
