Job summary

WSP seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer in Canada to design and deliver mission critical electrical systems for enterprise, colocation, hyperscale, and AI-ready data centers.

You will act as Engineer of Record, leading technical direction and coordinating with mechanical, civil, controls and commissioning teams to ensure resilient, scalable and future-ready infrastructure. A Canadian P.Eng and 12+ years of experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 12+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience, including mission critical/data center projects.
• Engineer of Record experience and P.Eng licensure in Canada (Ontario/Alberta/BC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of mission critical electrical systems for data center projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record with technical leadership and accountability.
• Drive innovative power infrastructure, resiliency, and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate utility services, MV distribution, standby generation, UPS, grounding, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated facilities.
• Advance BIM and digital engineering practices for better coordination and delivery.
