iA Financial Group is hiring a Lead Developer to drive design, evolution and support of core life insurance policy administration systems. You will work within the Odyssey Train, shaping technology solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem in a collaborative, Agile environment.

The role requires expertise in C#, .NET, SQL Server, Visual Studio and Azure DevOps or Git, with a strong French language background and autonomous, quality-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of software development experience in a Microsoft environment.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems with Microsoft tech stack.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration and customer focus.
• Autonomy, accountability and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Participate in analysis, design, development and evolution of business solutions in the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain applications using .NET and SQL Server with emphasis on performance, security and sustainability.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, developers and business partners to deliver solutions meeting needs.
• Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, QA, and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, support production applications and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Participating in the analysis, design, development, and evolution of business solutions leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Developing and maintaining applications built on .NET and SQL Server technologies while ensuring performance, security, and long term sustainability.
• Collaborating closely with business analysts, architects, developers, and business partners to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Contributing to technical decisions, code reviews, quality assurance activities, and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Actively participating in Agile ceremonies, supporting production applications, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Is recognized for their ability to solve complex problems pragmatically and for their expertise in Microsoft software development.

• Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development within a Microsoft environment, including experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps or Git.
• Has excellent written and spoken French skills.
