Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Brookfield plant in Nova Scotia to lead clinker and cement production, ensuring safety, quality and budgeted outputs.

You’ll drive efficiency, coordinate with maintenance and control rooms, and manage shifts with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement. The role requires 2 years of cement manufacturing experience or 5 years in a supervisory capacity in heavy industry, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or College or Technologist degree or diploma.
• 2 years cement manufacturing experience OR 5 years production supervisory experience in heavy industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google suites and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Production Team in clinker and cement production.
• Ensure safety, environmental, quality and productivity targets are met.
• Manage major turnarounds and coordinate with maintenance, lab and control room.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and clear communication.
• Provide leadership and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
• Report shift activities, safety meetings and production levels; cover Production Manager when needed.
• Administer collective agreements and coordinate training for production staff.
