Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a safety-focused Cement Production Supervisor to lead a 12-hour shift team in our Ontario cement facility. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while coaching production staff.

You will collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to optimize performance, ensure compliance with procedures, and foster continuous improvement in a demanding industrial environment.

We are seeking a safety-focused and results-driven Cement Production Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for leading production activities, supporting operational excellence, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within our cement manufacturing operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and coordinate production activities across 12-hr shift crews to achieve safety, quality, environmental, and operational objectives.

• Supervise, coach, and support production employees while promoting employee engagement and accountability.

• Monitor plant performance and implement solutions to improve productivity, reliability, and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and established operating procedures.

• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and operational teams to optimize plant performance and resolve production challenges.

What Are We Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, mining, cement, aggregates, or related environment.

Work Environment

• Primarily based in a cement manufacturing facility with exposure to industrial equipment, moving machinery, noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.

• Requires regular plant inspections, field presence, and interaction with production personnel.

• May require occasional work outside of standard business hours to support operational needs.
