Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead the Brookfield cement plant’s production team, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency to meet budgeted requirements and customer needs.

You will oversee shift activities, coordinate with maintenance, manage turnarounds, and develop staff while upholding health, safety and environmental policies; a Bachelor or college degree and cement-manufacturing or heavy industry supervision experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or College or Technologist degree.
• Field of Study: Mechanical, Chemical, Production (preferred).
• 2 years cement manufacturing experience OR 5 years in a production supervisory role in heavy industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google suites; SAP experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Production Team to meet safety, environmental, quality and output targets.
• Manage major turnarounds in terms of labour and resources.
• Coordinate cross-departmental work with maintenance and other teams.
• Report on shift activities and payroll for production staff.
