Job summary

Coquitlam Ridge Constructors, part of BA Blacktop Group of Companies, is seeking a Carpenter Foreperson to oversee carpentry projects on bridge-related construction sites. You will supervise crews, manage planning, scheduling and safety compliance, and coordinate with the superintendent to meet project goals.

The role requires trade qualification, a minimum of five years carpentry experience and at least three years in a foreperson role, plus relevant certifications and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Carpentry Experience
• Minimum 3 years of Foreperson Experience, Heavy Engineering Construction and bridge-related works
• Carpentry Trade Qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience
• Level 1 Occupational First Aid Certificate
• Fall Protection Certificate
• Rigging Certificate
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule site tasks to meet budget and schedule
• Coordinate with forepersons and crews on the job site
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to specifications
• Maintain site files and documentation and manage timesheets
• Requisition supplies and equipment as needed
• Communicate health, safety and environmental plans on site
• Support employee development and adhere to policies and procedures
