Job summary

ADGA Group seeks an experienced Technical Lead, Aerospace Development to lead design, development, evaluation, and sustainment of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) and related aerospace products. This role provides SME engineering support for Counter-UAS to Joint Staff and units.

Responsibilities include plan­ing improvements, producing reports, maintaining programs and guiding senior staff through technical decisions. Travel to facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in CAF aerospace tech roles (maintenance, operations or avionics) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, software, computer, systems, electrical or related engineering.
• 6+ years in aerospace design, manufacture, testing, and related activities.
• 6+ years in preparing technical airworthiness documentation.
• 6+ years liaising with stakeholders and briefing on engineering issues.
• Experience developing advanced technologies in aerodynamics, structures, GNC, instrumentation, robotics, propulsion.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, evaluation and sustainment of UAS and related aerospace products.
• Provide SME engineering support for Counter-UAS to Joint Staff and units.
• Plan and recommend product improvements for existing and new systems.
• Produce equipment review reports, improvement studies, modification plans and project docs.
• Develop, implement and monitor maintenance programs and inspections.
• Provide engineering guidance to senior management and stakeholders.
• Participate in technical groups and transfer of technical information.
• Conduct staff visits for technical liaison and inquiries at facilities.
