Job summary

Volatus Aerospace Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/Technician to ensure reliability and airworthiness of UAS components. You will support integration, testing, and field operation of UAS products and services.

The role involves flexible hours, possible extended shifts, and active physical work in field environments, with emphasis on safety and quality in aerospace operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with internal combustion piston engines, including maintenance and system integration.
• Proficiency with specialized hand tools and calibrated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive development, integration, and testing of UAS products and services.
• Plan, perform, and track scheduled inspections and maintenance for flight readiness.
• Examine parts and assemblies for design conformity and airworthiness.
• Read and interpret mechanical and avionics drawings for assembly and integration.
• Install assemblies and structures to support UAS development.
• Manage tools, equipment, and inventory in production and maintenance.
• Perform field operations and ground handling to support safe flight.
• Support deployment, testing, and operational activities in the field.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.
