Responsibilities

• Responsible for all linen and towel laundering and inventory.
• Work closely with Housekeeping Supervisors and Manager to ensure inventory.
• Direct time to stained and reclaim items to extend product life.
• Record damaged product weekly and report to Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry and floors.
• Wash, sort, dry, and fold linens and towels efficiently.
• Ensure proper operation of laundry equipment.
• Stock and dispense laundry chemicals across shifts.
• Report machine issues to Housekeeping Manager.
• Report linen shortages to Housekeeping Manager.
• Assist with stripping linens when necessary.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Full Time Laundry Attendant, under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager. Laundry Attendants are responsible for ensuring all linens and towels are getting ready so that all rooms can be turned over daily. There will be some duties that are required to be done daily and others that only are needed on a case-by-case situation. A strong, motivated team is already in place, and we are looking for the same drive and commitment.

Location: Everwild Nordic Spa and Hotel

Shifts: Full-Time

Wage: $19-$20/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all linen and towel laundering and inventory.


• Work closely with Housekeeping Supervisors and Housekeeping Manager to ensure inventory for the hotel is properly stocked.


• Ensure that time is directed at stained and reclaim inventories, helping extend the life of the products.


• Remove and record damaged product each week and report to the Housekeeping Manager.


• Maintain cleanliness of laundry.


• Maintain clean floors in the laundry room.


• Washing and cleaning of all linen bags and bins.


• Wash, sort, dry, and fold linens and towels in an efficient and organized manner to best support the needs of the hotel.


• Ensure proper operation of equipment.


• Ensure laundry chemicals are stocked up and are dispensing correctly throughout each shift.


• Report to the Housekeeping Manager if any machines are not working properly.


• Report to the Housekeeping Manager of any shortage in linen inventories.


• Assist with stripping linens when necessary.
