Job summary

Basecamp is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to ensure all rooms are guest ready across our Canmore properties. You will perform cleaning, inspections, and restock supplies in line with our standards.

The role offers $18.50 per hour, 8-hour shifts, with flexible availability and the potential for additional hours during busy periods or vacations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Able to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Proven experience as a Housekeeper is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
• Deal with reasonable complaints/ requests with professionalism and patience.
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.

Position Overview

We require a part-time Housekeeper that will make sure all rooms are guest ready. There will be some duties that are required to be done daily and others that only are needed on a case-by-case situation. A strong, motivated team is already in place, and we are looking for the same drive and commitment.

Salary: $18.50 per hour

Hours: Part Time, 8 hour shifts, flexible availability preferred, permanent with the opportunity for additional hours during busy periods and to cover vacations
