Job summary

University of Alberta Careers is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the North Campus landscaping in Edmonton. The role is in-person, located primarily at North Campus, Edmonton, and serves the university community including students, staff, and visitors.

You will be responsible for the upkeep of both hard and soft landscaped areas and act as a liaison between students, staff, and visitors, taking initiative on projects as needed.

This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.

The incumbent's primary goal is to provide a sage, aesthetically pleasing landscaped campus environment for the University community, which includes but isn't limited to (students, staff and visitors to Campus) within the general frame of work of Division policies and procedures

The incumbent acts as a contact between students, staff, visitors, and is responsible for the general upkeep of both hard and soft landscaped areas

Because of the nature of the position the incumbent has to be a self-starter and take initiative of projects on their own accord
