Job summary

Seven M Construction Ltd. is seeking a Landscape Labourer Level 3 to work across Edmonton and surrounding areas. This seasonal, full-time role involves outdoor landscape tasks and operating maintenance equipment. Basic English and 4 seasons of related experience are required.

The position offers a wage of $24.94 per hour, with potential overtime, 40–60 hours per week, and 8–12 hour days. Start date is Spring 2027, weather-dependent.

Responsibilities

• Spread top soil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees.
• Cut grass, rake, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees.
• Maintenance duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides.
• Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers.

Job Location: Various locations in Edmonton and the surrounding area, AB

Wage: $24.94/ hour (salary increases per company policy)

Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal, Full-time (40-60 hours/week, 8–12-hour days, weather-dependent), Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend; Overtime and work on holidays may be required.

Job requirements:

Duties:

• Spread top soil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees, and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape and related structures
• Cut grass, rake, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees, and perform other
• Maintenance duties as directed by the supervisor
• Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides
• Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snowblowers and other landscape maintenance equipment
• Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns, and gardens, as directed, to control insects and disease
• Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments
• Assist the foreman with the tree planting according to planting standards
• Assist the foreman with mentoring new workers and safety standards
• May be responsible for ensuring staff meet daily objectives
