Earthscape is seeking a full-time, year-round Landscape Maintenance Labourer to service high-end properties across Elmira, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, and surrounding areas.

The role blends spring–fall landscape upkeep with winter snow and ice management. You will operate lawn machinery, plant flora, and assist with landscape construction while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscapes through mowing, raking, weeding, edging, and pruning.

Location: Wallenstein, ON (or direct to snow site during winter)
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent (Year-Round)
Wage: 22.00- 26.00 an hour (depending on experience/role)

Job Overview

Earthscape is hiring a full-time, year-round Landscape Maintenance Labourer to maintain high-end residential and commercial properties across Elmira, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, and surrounding areas. This role combines spring, summer, and fall landscape maintenance with winter snow and ice management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual duties to maintain landscapes in spring/summer/fall, including mowing, raking, weeding, edging gardens, and pruning trees and shrubs.
• Operate mechanical lawn equipment (mowers, blowers, edgers, clippers) and assist with landscape construction (pavers, stone, walls, drainage) as needed.
• Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes to enhance client properties.
• Clear snow and ice using shovels, commercial snow blowers, and stand-on Snowrator machines during winter events.
• Apply de-icing materials and work efficiently to meet event timelines.
• Inspect equipment, report maintenance issues, and keep work areas and vehicles clean and organized.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures regarding machinery, traffic, pedestrians, and extreme weather hazards.

Availability & Working Conditions

• Full-time hours through spring, summer, and fall seasons outdoor landscape operations.
• Requires 24/7 on-call availability throughout the winter season (Nov 15 – Apr 15) with short-notice response times.
• Winter shifts are weather-dependent and variable, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demands physical endurance for outdoor work in all weather conditions (heat and extreme cold), walking on icy surfaces, continuous shoveling, lifting up to 50 lbs, and machinery operation.
