Earthscape is seeking a full-time, year-round Landscape Maintenance Labourer to service high-end residential and commercial properties across Elmira, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, and surrounding areas.

The role combines spring, summer and fall landscape maintenance with winter snow and ice management, with 24/7 on-call availability during the winter season. The position offers competitive hourly pay and extensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Progressive experience in ornamental horticulture, landscaping, or snow removal.
• Ability to pass background checks (references, identity, criminal record, and driving record).
• Minimum G Class license and capability to work flexible hours including winter on-call shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mowing, raking, weeding, edging, and pruning to maintain landscapes.
• Operate mowers, blowers, edgers, and clippers; assist with landscape construction as needed.
• Plant flowers, grasses, shrubs, and bushes to enhance client properties.
• Clear snow and ice using shovels, snow blowers, and stand-on equipment during winter events.
• Apply de-icing materials and meet event timelines.
• Inspect equipment, report maintenance issues, and keep areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to all safety procedures for machinery, traffic, pedestrians and weather hazards.

Wage: 22.00- 26.00 an hour (depending on experience/role)

Job Overview

Earthscape is hiring a full-time, year-round Landscape Maintenance Labourer to maintain high-end residential and commercial properties across Elmira, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, and surrounding areas. This role combines spring, summer, and fall landscape maintenance with winter snow and ice management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual duties to maintain landscapes in spring/summer/fall, including mowing, raking, weeding, edging gardens, and pruning trees and shrubs.
• Operate mechanical lawn equipment (mowers, blowers, edgers, clippers) and assist with landscape construction (pavers, stone, walls, drainage) as needed.
• Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes to enhance client properties.
• Clear snow and ice using shovels, commercial snow blowers, and stand-on Snowrator machines during winter events.
• Apply de-icing materials and work efficiently to meet event timelines.
• Inspect equipment, report maintenance issues, and keep work areas and vehicles clean and organized.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures regarding machinery, traffic, pedestrians, and extreme weather hazards.

Availability & Working Conditions

• Full-time hours through spring, summer, and fall seasons outdoor landscape operations.
• Requires 24/7 on-call availability throughout the winter season (Nov 15 – Apr 15) with short-notice response times.
• Winter shifts are weather-dependent and variable, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demands physical endurance for outdoor work in all weather conditions (heat and extreme cold), walking on icy surfaces, continuous shoveling, lifting up to 50 lbs, and machinery operation.

Qualifications & Requirements
