The Land Conservation Planner Technician is primarily responsible for developing total resource conservation plans for land users in Pepin County. This person will provide best management practices through technical assistance in design criteria and soil erosion prediction, to assist land users of Pepin County. They will also assist in monitoring compliance with performance standards as directed under Wisconsin administrative rules for non-point source pollution. Additionally, this role involves working with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) to write total resource plans for landowners needing revisions to maintain eligibility for federal programs, as well as assisting in the construction and design of erosion control best management practices.
$26.46/hr – $30.24/hr, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with a complete benefits package included.
