Job summary

North American Construction Group is seeking Skille Ground Workers for a FIFO role at the Fort Hills mine site near Fort McMurray, AB. The position requires physical outdoor labor, safety focus, and the ability to operate in a remote site environment.

Camp accommodations and flights are provided as part of the package. Qualified candidates have at least 2 years as a labourer and 1 year of mine experience, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a labourer role.
• At least 1 year of previous mine experience.
• Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and recent Driver’s Abstract.
• Valid CSO, Silica Awareness, Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness, OHS Alberta Legislation, Field Ergonomics.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing: breath alcohol, urine drug, fitness-to-work, audiometric, and vision screening.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Safety-first attitude and strong listening skills.
