Job summary

Morskate Manufacturing Ltd. in Ponoka, AB is seeking applications for the Labourer – metal fabrication role. This permanent, full-time position includes Day, Overtime and Morning shifts and has LMIA approval, with starting as soon as possible.

You will assist fellow metal workers, operate metal cleaning equipment, load and unload vehicles, and help clean machines and work areas. This is a steady, hands-on role in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal product surfaces.
• Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
• Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
• Ground or chip excess metal from metal products with hand tools.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas.
• Load and unload vehicles.
