Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Labourer for our Saskatoon Construction and Forestry location. The role supports the heavy equipment service department by cleaning equipment and the shop, and assisting technicians to boost shop productivity.

This entry-level position provides an opportunity to pursue an apprenticeship while learning alongside skilled technicians in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

  • Detailing heavy equipment once the repairs have been completed
  • Maintaining the wash bay equipment and cleanliness of the wash bay
  • Cleaning parts and components
  • Cleaning and maintaining the yard and shop
  • Assisting in the dismantling of heavy equipment and components
  • Organizing equipment in the yard and maintaining dealership premises (grading, leveling snow removal)
  • Some inventory maintenance
  • Assisting the other shop personnel with fulfilling their duties and increase overall shop productivity
  • Other duties as assigned

Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a Labourer for our Saskatoon Construction and Forestry location. This position is responsible for assisting in the heavy equipment service department. Duties will include, but are not limited to, cleaning heavy equipmentand the shop, and working with technicians. The labourer will play a key role in assisting the other personnel fulfill their duties and increase overall shop productivity. This position is an entry point for someone interested in pursuing an apprenticeship.
