Job summary

Brandt Developments is seeking a licensed Electrician in Saskatoon for full-time work across our facilities renovations and maintenance. The role offers CA$45.00 hourly pay and a CA$5,000 sign-on bonus, with journeyman status preferred and apprentice rates scaling with level.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday with Fly In / Fly Out hubs in Saskatoon & Prince Albert. We’re looking for experienced tradespeople passionate about construction who take pride in their work and can supervise

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Trades Certificate is an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Building maintenance and repairs.
  • Complete small renovation projects.
  • Supervise subcontractors on larger projects to meet Brandt’s standards.
  • Adhere to Brandt’s safety procedures.
  • Meet schedule and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and designers.

Job description

Brandt is currently seeking an Electrician for our Brandt Developments Division. Brandt is a diverse manufacturing and distribution company that makes equipment for contractors, farmers, landscapers, loggers, manufacturers, miners, pipe liners, railways, roadbuilders and steelmakers. That commitment includes ongoing renovations, additions and maintenance at our facilities.

CA$45.00 hourly

Licensed Electrician Sign on Bonus $5,000 Pay: $45. Journeyperson rate shown; apprentice rates scale with level. Work Schedule: Full-Time | Monday through Friday. Welldone Mechanical Services | Saskatoon

Fly In / Fly Out - Hubs: Saskatoon / Prince Albert.

We’re looking for experienced tradesmen that are passionate about construction and take pride in their work. Backed by a strong support team, this is a great opportunity to work together with a skilled team on small, medium and large construction projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Building maintenance and repairs
  • Complete small renovation projects
  • Supervise activities of subcontractors' personnel on larger jobs to ensure that work is being performed in compliance with Brandt’s standards
  • Complete all work in accordance with Brandt’s safety procedures
  • Complete all work within schedule and budget
  • Work with the foremen, project managers and designers to manage issues in design, material supply and coordination.
Required Skills
  • A passion for construction
  • Excellent organization & communication skills – written and verbal
  • Excellent work ethic including the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • The ability to travel as necessary
  • Journeyman Trades Certificate is considered an asset
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
