Job summary

Fddf is seeking a motivated construction laborer to support drilling and blasting prep and to assist with various trades on major projects across Quebec and Ontario.

The role requires frequent travel, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift weights over 20 kg while staying proactive, dynamic, and autonomous.

You will report to the V.P. of the Civil Engineering and Construction Division and help maintain a safe, productive work site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a laborer.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to lift weights exceeding 20 kg.
• Proactive, dynamic and autonomous.

Job description

You will report to the V.P. of the Civil Engineering and Construction Division. You will perform various tasks on construction sites such as preparing and organizing the sites, and moving materials and equipment.

Travel: You will need to travel frequently, especially to the following regions: Montreal, Eastern Townships, Montérégie, Laurentians, and beyond.

Salary: According to CCQ (Quebec Construction Commission) rates.

• Perform tasks related to various trades.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a laborer.

SKILLS

• You have a valid driver’s license (required);
• You have a good driving record;
• You are proactive in completing various tasks;
• Good physical strength. You may need to lift weights exceeding 20 kg;
• You are dynamic and energetic;
• You are resourceful, autonomous, and hardworking;
