Job summary

FDDF is seeking a driven courier to collect and deliver materials and tools across Quebec and Ontario. You will report to the VP of Civil Engineering and Construction Division and travel to Granby, Drummondville, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu and surrounding areas.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and at least 2 years of courier experience. You will load and unload, refuel drills, assist with inventory, and follow health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a courier.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Good physical strength; may lift weights over 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver materials and tools according to the planned route.
• Load or unload materials at the destination.
• Frequent travel to Granby, Drummondville, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu and surrounding areas.
• Refuel drills with diesel on construction sites.
• Purchase materials, equipment, and tools.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Follow health and safety standards.
• Perform other related tasks.

Job description

You will report to the V.P. of the Civil Engineering and Construction Division. Your main role will be to collect and delivery materials or other items related to the operational or administrative activities of regional construction sites.

Travel: You will need to travel to the following regions: Granby, Drummondville, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, and surrounding areas.

Salary: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on your profile and experience.

• Pick up and deliver materials and tools according to the planned route;
• Load or unload materials at the destination;
• Frequent travel;
• Refuel drills with diesel on construction sites;
• Purchase materials, equipment, and tools;
• Actively participate in other warehouse tasks:
  • Sharpening drill bits;
  • Keep the area clean and organized;
  • Help receive supplier parts orders;
  • Operate a forklift;
  • Move equipment;
• Assist with inventory management;
• Follow occupational health and safety standards;
• Perform any other related tasks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a courier.

SKILLS

• You have a valid driver’s license (required);

• Good physical strength. You may need to lift weights exceeding 20 kg;
