Job summary

Bombardier invites motivated students to join as an internship in Labour Relations. You will provide admin support, maintain the grievance tracker, and assist with overtime reconciliation and reporting.

The role offers exposure to union processes and continuous improvement projects within a collaborative team. The internship targets current undergraduates in HR-related fields, with strong MS Office skills and a professional, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, industrial relations, labour relations, or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with professionalism.
• Flexible, proactive, and a strong team player; autonomous when needed.
• Thrives under pressure with multi-tasking and strict deadlines.
• Organized with high attention to detail and good process administration.
• Confidential information handling is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the labour relations team on day-to-day collective agreement interpretation issues.
• Administer the grievance record tracker, track replies, and schedule hearings.
• Manage overtime reconciliation and advise on overtime guidelines to reduce liability.
• Review overtime reports weekly and lead audit meetings with leaders/directors.
• Gather HR data for reporting and produce labour relations reports weekly.
• Contribute to labour relations process improvement initiatives and projects.
• Participate in HR and labour relations team meetings.
