WorkSafeBC in Richmond, BC is seeking a highly organized Labour Relations and People Coordinator to support the Labour Relations team. This role handles confidential administrative duties, grievance management, and coordination for arbitration, bargaining, and board processes.
You will maintain records, prepare reports and presentations, manage calendars and meeting materials, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a hybrid environment.
We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Labour Relations and People Coordinator to join our People and Culture team in Richmond.
Reporting to the Director, Labour Relations, you'll play an important role in supporting labour relations operations across WorkSafeBC. You'll provide confidential coordination and administrative support for a broad range of activities, including grievance management, arbitration and Labour Relations Board processes, collective bargaining preparation, reporting, records management, and stakeholder coordination.
Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, advanced attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. You'll be responsible for preparing and editing a wide range of correspondence, reports, presentations, meeting materials, and records, requiring strong written communication skills and a high degree of accuracy.
You'll also leverage technology to support the team's work, using tools such as SharePoint, Excel, Microsoft 365 applications, and Copilot to manage information, maintain records, support reporting, and improve efficiency. A key aspect of this role is documenting discussions and outcomes from grievances, collective bargaining sessions, and other labour relations meetings, where thorough, accurate, and objective note-taking is essential, as records may be relied upon in formal proceedings and legal hearings.
This is a temporary role for 18 months.

Salary: $72,821.00 - $88,478.00/annually
