Responsabilidades

• Perform routine laboratory procedures such as soil sample intake, data entry, grinding soils, weighing soil samples, and extracting/filtering soils.
• Assist with the logistics and organization of samples.
• Ensure accurate data entry and documentation.
• Follow lab procedures to ensure consistent, reliable results and adhere to turnaround times.
• Clean labware and maintain laboratory workspaces.
• Monitor and maintain inventory as required and maintain a safe testing environment.
• Report issues to Lab Manager to prevent production delays.

The Lab Technician is responsible for basic laboratory operations and ensuring a high quality of service and accuracy. Croptimistic’s soil lab plays a key role in supporting our precision agronomy services. This is a temporary position, expected to run until December 18, 2026. Overtime hours are available, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory procedures
  • Soil sample intake & data entry
  • Grind soils
  • Weigh soil samples
  • Extract and filter soil samples
• Assist with the logistics and organisation of samples
• Thorough and accurate completion of data entry and documentation
• Follow lab procedures precisely to ensure consistent, reliable results
• Adhere to laboratory standard turn-around times
• Clean labware and laboratory workspaces
• Monitor and maintain inventory as required
• Maintain a safe testing environment that is compliant with policies and procedures
• Report any issues immediately to the Lab Manager to ensure production is not compromised
