Job summary

Resolute Workforce Solutions, the lab-focused division under Brevitas, is seeking a Lab Technician to join the onsite team in Whitby, ON. You will prepare solutions, assist scientists, perform analytical tests, and document data in line with ALCOA standards.

The role requires a college diploma in laboratory technology (or related), with GMP experience and lab equipment familiarity. Shifts rotate; benefits include health coverage and life insurance.

Qualifications

• College Diploma in Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science is an asset.
• Minimum 1 year GMP laboratory experience is an asset.
• Experience with common laboratory equipment such as balances and pipettes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bulk solutions and analytical kits for Scientists according to the kitting schedule, assist with laboratory duties, and perform basic analytical testing.
• Support dissolution testing and sample preparation.
• Perform routine testing, including particle size, tapped density, and flow index.
• Prepare raw data packages for clients.
• Accurately document experimental data in accordance with ALCOA principles.
• Use eDMS, MS Word, and Excel.
• Maintain a safe working environment and report hazards.
• Work alternating or rotating shifts as required.

Note: Salary ranges from $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience.
