Job summary

Resolute Workforce Solutions based in Whitby, ON is seeking a Lab Technician to join our onsite laboratory team. The role involves preparing bulk solutions, assisting scientists, conducting basic analytical tests, and documenting data per ALCOA standards.

The ideal candidate holds a College Diploma in Laboratory Technology, with a Chemistry degree as an asset and GMP experience considered an advantage. Training and benefits follow probation.

Qualifications

• College Diploma in Laboratory Technology or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science is an asset.
• Minimum 1 year of GMP laboratory experience is an asset.
• Experience with common laboratory equipment, such as balances and pipettes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bulk solutions and analytical kits for Scientists according to the kitting schedule, assist with laboratory duties, and perform basic analytical testing.
• Support dissolution testing and sample preparation.
• Perform routine testing, including particle size, tapped density, and flow index.
• Prepare raw data packages for clients.
• Accurately document experimental data in accordance with ALCOA principles.
• Use eDMS, MS Word, and Excel.
• Maintain a safe working environment and report hazards.
• Work alternating or rotating shifts as required.

Note: Salary ranges from $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience.
