Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) invites applications for a Lab Data Entry Clerk in Winnipeg, MB. This full-time contract role supports the Grain & Crop Inputs division and reports to the Quality Control team, assisting with documenting test results and maintaining records.

You will log results, respond to inquiries, and help with equipment maintenance checks. Availability August through December 2026, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional overtime or weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Must be accurate and detail-oriented to document test results precisely.
• Able to identify quality issues and document observations clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of lab terminology is an asset.

Your Team

Grain & Crop Inputs: The Grain & Crop Inputs Division connects Canadian farmers to markets across the country and beyond. With a network of grain elevators, terminals, and agri-retail locations, we provide crop inputs, agronomic solutions, and grain marketing expertise to help producers succeed.

As Lab Data Entry Clerk, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the accurate documentation of various test results on the quality and condition of grain samples for growers, traders and P&H’s various facilities. This position will assist the Quality Control Manager and Lab Technicians with additional duties as assigned.

This Lab Data Entry Clerk is a is a full time contract role. You must be available to work from August to December 2026, Monday to Friday starting at 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with occasional overtime or weekend hours.

Day to Day

• Reporting/logging detailed results of tests and samples
  Responding to general questions via Quality Control inbox
  Performing maintenance checks on equipment and log maintenance activities
