Job summary

Seneca Polytechnic in Ontario is seeking an OTP support staff member to help oversee safe and efficient operation of OTP clinical laboratories and placements within the School of Health Sciences. You will support on-site students, assist instructors, and ensure proper lab procedures and equipment maintenance.

You will lead casual lab technicians, monitor safety, manage supplies and records, and facilitate communication with students and instructors.

Qualifications

• OTA/PTA diploma required and CAOT/OSOT membership preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification and WHMIS training are required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; commitment to equity in education.

Responsibilities

• Act as lab lead for casual/part-time technicians and onboarding.
• Support lab instructors and coordinate lab activities and safety.
• Maintain lab records, attendance, and tracking of equipment and consumables.
• Assist with course materials, equipment setup, and lab safety standards.
• Coordinate with placement team to connect students with opportunities and future sites.
