Job summary

Seneca Polytechnic is seeking a part-time, on-site Lab Support role to assist with OTP clinical labs and placements. You will work closely with the School of Health Sciences staff to ensure safe, effective lab operations and student support.

Minimum two years of OTA/PTA clinical experience and a two-year OTA/PTA diploma are required; CPR/First Aid and WHMIS training are also expected. Membership in CAOT or OSOT is preferred, with compensation based on a Payband 8 range.

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma in OTA/PTA.
• Membership in CAOT or OSOT preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• WHMIS/Hazardous materials training completed.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and efficient operations of OTP labs and placements on site.
• Assist course instructors and program coordinators in lab activities.
• Maintain lab safety, cleanliness and equipment inventory.
• Track student progress and attendance; report to instructors.
