Job summary

Knights On Guard is seeking a mid-level administrative professional to handle night operations center processes in Ontario. This role requires one year of security experience and offers the chance to contribute to a dedicated team.

You will act as the first contact for staff, manage scheduling, operate the switchboard and radios, and provide mentorship while upholding KOG policies and responding to emergencies and site issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year security experience
• Eligible to work full-time without restrictions
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Dispatch centre/admin experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills

• Knowledge of basic security and emergency procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling by responding to and amending team member time off
• Operate telephone switchboard for internal/external calls
• Operate radios and monitor check-ins/book-ons and offs
• Respond to miscellaneous site issues and situations
• Provide mentorship for on-site team members and respond to emergencies
• Ensure consistent implementation of KOG policies and procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic repairs
• Perform dispatch functions including operating communication equipment

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this position, you would be responsible for the night processes of the Knights on Guard Operations Centre. Please note this is a mid-level administrative position and one (1) year of security experience is required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as the first point of contact for staff, managers, clients and the general public
• Assist with scheduling by responding to and amending with Team Member book offs
• Operate telephone switchboard for all internal/external calls
• Operate radios and monitor check-ins/book-on/offs
• Respond to miscellaneous site issues/situations
• Provide mentorship for on-site Team Members and respond to emergencies by calling security back up and/or 911
• Ensure consistent implementation of all KOG policies and procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic repairs
• Perform dispatch functions when necessary including: operating communication equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

• 24/7 Availability
• Minimum of One year of experience in the security industry required
• Eligible to work full-time without restrictions
• Previous leadership and supervisory experience
• Previous dispatch centre/admin experience is preferred
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of basic security and emergency procedures
• Excellent computer application and troubleshooting skills
