Job summary

Integrated Staffing Limited is seeking reliable Kitchen Stewards to support kitchen operations in St. John’s, NL. You will maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen while assisting with general duties.

The role requires punctuality, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to food safety procedures. Shifts run 6:00 AM–1:00 PM or 1:00 PM–8:00 PM, with pay at $18.00/hour plus 4% vacation pay.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, dishwashing, or cleaning experience is considered an asset.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties.
• Must have slip‑resistant footwear.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, and work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing and kitchen areas throughout the shift.
• Empty garbage and recycling as required.
• Properly store clean dishes, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist kitchen staff with general duties as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Complete other cleaning and kitchen duties as assigned.
