Pay Rate: $18.19/hour

Schedule: Morning & Afternoon Shifts | Weekdays & Weekends Available

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients.
• Prepare items according to standardized recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Support cooks with bulk meal production.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas.
• Follow safe food handling and infection control procedures.
• Assist with inventory organization and proper food storage.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience required.
• Experience in healthcare, institutional, or high-volume kitchens considered an asset.
• Valid Food Safe Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be able to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
