Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Canada is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train and guide crews, oversee food preparation, and maintain safety and quality standards. You will lead by example, keep the kitchen organized, and ensure excellent guest experiences.

You will be on your feet and actively contribute to achieving station goals, while promoting teamwork and a positive work environment. This role offers open weekly schedules and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.
• Provide at least four days of open availability each week, including Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.
• Be able to work a minimum of 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and ensure quick repairs.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
