Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Ottawa is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise the preparation of great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders while ensuring the kitchen is clean, stocked, and safe.

You will uphold Chipotle's Food With Integrity, promote teamwork, and deliver a great customer experience daily. This role requires strong communication, 32 hours minimum per week, and four days of open availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred and considered an asset.
• Must be available four days per week, including Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
• Minimum 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality and inventory; resolve issues.
• Support a strong back- and front-of-house team dynamic.
• Develop Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized and well stocked.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operating.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventories.
