Job summary

A&W Restaurants is seeking a Kitchen Crew member to support food preparation and kitchen operations at the Whyte Ave location. This role offers hands-on learning, a fast-paced environment, and teamwork with a friendly staff.

We provide on‑the‑job training, flexible scheduling, and growth into leadership roles as you progress through wage steps from starting to advanced levels.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare A&W menu items following food safety and quality standards, cook burgers, fries, breakfast items, and other products.
• Kitchen Operations: Keep workstations stocked, organized, and running efficiently; restock fridges, freezers, and ingredient stations; monitor food levels and communicate needs to the team.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures; clean and sanitize equipment, counters, prep surfaces, and utensils; assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience.
• Teamwork: Work closely with Cashiers, Supervisors, and other team members; communicate clearly during rush periods; support a positive, respectful workplace.
