Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario is hiring a seasonal part-time Kitchen Steward to maintain a clean environment and ensure kitchen tools are ready for the next use. You will stock and organize china, glassware and cutlery for banquet services and support the culinary team.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, reliable transportation, and availability for day and afternoon shifts. Perks include access to resort amenities, discounts, and employee events at Blue Mountain.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen stewarding or banquet support preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work days/afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Stocks and organizes china, glass and cutlery for banquet services.
• Cleans equipment and stainless-steel walls in the kitchen, sweeps and mops kitchens and storage areas.
• Cleans dishes, removes food waste, loads/unloads dishwasher.
• Assist Chief Steward with moving small wares for off-site events.
• Assist Chefs with plated meals as required.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The purpose of this role is to maintain a clean environment and ensure that the kitchen tools are ready and in place for the next use.
