Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario is seeking a Seasonally employed supervisor to lead daily operations and uphold our high service standards for guests and staff. You will support team members, manage inventory, and ensure labour and expenses align with the daily budget.

The role requires 1–2 years of supervisory experience, Smart Serve certification, reliable transportation, and availability on weekends. This is a full-time seasonal position at Blue Mountain Resort, owned by Alterra Mountain

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations to help staff work efficiently and uphold service standards.
• Adhere to brand standards including station layouts, drink recipes, service standards, and menu knowledge.
• Maintain positive relationships across departments within the resort.
• Support team completion of daily tasks and perform duties as needed.
• Order inventory to meet par levels set by management.
• Ensure processes align with the Strategic Plan and budgeted labor.
• Ensure expenses and labour align with daily budget.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The purpose of this role is to provide lead daily operations to assist employees in working efficiently to uphold service standards, while creating exceptional guest experiences.

• Supports the execution of clear service and performance expectations for the business unit.
• Adheres to Brand Standards; following station layouts, drink recipes, service standards, menu knowledge, training of employees.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with departments across the resort.
• Supports team members completion of daily tasks and performs such work as needed.
• Orders inventory required, adhering to the par levels provided by the Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Ensures tactical processes and standards are followed to support the achievement of the Strategic Plan.
• Ensures that daily expenses and labour schedules meet daily budget allocations.
