Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort is seeking a seasonal full-time team member for Base Lodges, delivering fast, friendly service and processing payments while maintaining resort service standards. This Front of House role includes busing tables, cleaning duties and contributing to a smooth guest experience across casual dining venues.

Wage is $18.00 per hour. Must have reliable transportation, be able to work days and afternoons, and be a strong team player who pays attention to detail and can work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and/or serve food within Base Lodges while maintaining service standards.
• Enter meal selections into POS and process payments (cash, credit/debit).
• Scoop ice cream into cones or cups (summer).
• Clear guests' trays and sanitize surfaces.
• Change garbage, recycle and compost bins.
• Assist in staff cafeteria serving and cleanup.
• Deliver cookie orders to hotel rooms when scheduled; process payments at the room.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

This purpose of this role is to process payments and/or serve food within the Base Lodges while providing the best service possible while maintaining the service standards of a quick service restaurant. This diverse position includes all functions of the Front of House including busing tables and general cleaning duties.

• Accurately enter meal selections into POS and process payment. (Cash, credit/debit card payments)
• Scoop ice cream into cones or cups (summer only).
• Clear Guests’ trays and debris form table; sanitize tables, chairs (all surfaces).
• Change garbage, recycle and compost bins.
• Helping serve food in the staff cafeteria, excepting payments for food, setting up and cleaning up.
• When scheduled in Death Cookie; delivers cookie orders to hotel rooms across the resort by foot, process. debit/credit payments at the room with the guest, take cookie orders over the phone.
