Job summary

A&W is hiring for a Kitchen Crew at our Victoria, BC location. This hands-on role keeps the kitchen running smoothly and supports a fast-paced team dedicated to guest satisfaction.

You will prepare menu items, assist with cooking, and help maintain clean, safe work areas while collaborating with colleagues to deliver a positive guest experience. Training empowers growth and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare A&W menu items following food safety and quality standards; Cook burgers, fries, breakfast items, and other products; Assemble orders accurately, even during busy periods.
• Kitchen Operations: Keep workstations stocked, organized, and running efficiently; Restock fridges, freezers, and ingredient stations; Monitor food levels and communicate needs to the team.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures; Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, prep surfaces, and utensils; Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience.
• Teamwork: Work closely with Cashiers, Supervisors, and other team members; Communicate clearly during rush periods; Support a positive, respectful workplace.
